iBooks lets you to download and read your favorite books on your iPad, giving an amazing visual experience.There is a huge selection of free books available, more than 30.000, thanks to the Gutenberg Project.

You can also bookmark your favorite passages, search the entire book with the built-in search feature, define any word by clicking on “Dictionary”, change the font size(and style) and adjust the brightness of the screen. iBooks allows to download DRM-free ePub text to your Pc and then sync them to iPad.
Switching from one page to two page-view in landscape mode is another great feature.
Readers can flip pages with a swipe or a tap or even start a Wikipedia or Google search from within any book( results will be opened in a new Safari window).
The application comes with a book store featuring the latest best-selling books with prices up to 14.99 and offering a free sample for download, sometimes up to 50 pages.
